It's a regular day like any other for Twilight as she combs her main and prepares to head to the library for the day. She's been having some weird daydreams as of late but she blames it due the lack of sleep, this recent acult book has piqued her interest; it's about changelings.. or rather.. about people worshipping them. It's a very old book with an even older story and she's already spend reading through hundreds of pages. She knows it's something of the past if it even is real to begin with but still, reading about the dedication.. the rituals and even the changeling has sparked excitement. When ready she heads out to the library comming across Rarity along the way and waving as they each go on about their day, once inside the library she heads straight for the book. She levitates the book closer, her hand tracing the cracked leather binding as she flips to the next page. The parchment crackles faintly, releasing a whiff of aged ink and something faintly musky. Her ears twitch as she reads aloud in a murmur, "The Full Moon Sacrifice," just as a beam of sunlight slants through the library window, illuminating swirling dust motes above her. The light catches the edge of the page, revealing a faded handwritten margin note: "They know" A shiver runs down her spine, but before she can examine it further, the library door creaks open. The heavy oak door groans on its hinges, and Twilight’s head snaps up, her hand still pressed against the unsettling note. A cool draft slithers in before Spike shuffles into view, balancing a teetering stack of scrolls in his arms, his scales glinting in the sudden spill of sunlight. “Uh, Twilight?” he calls, voice muffled behind the parchment. “You okay? You’ve been reading that book non-stop and act like it’s gonna bite you at any moment!” Twilight blinks, the words: "They know" engraved in her brain. "I-it's nothing! Don't be silly, books don't bite, and besides.. I know my way around them. No papercuts for me!" she replies, forcing a chuckle that comes out a little too high-pitched. Her fingers twitch against the book’s spine, the leather cool and oddly clammy under her touch. Spike raises an eyebrow, shifting the scrolls in his arms with a skeptical huff. "Uh-huh. Sure. You’ve got that look you know.. the one where you’re about to go full ‘Twilight Mode’ and forget to eat for three days." He nudges the door shut with his tail, the latch clicking softly. Immidiatly she dives back into the book, staring at the words "They know" before flicking over to the next page with a whole lot more scribbles and a sigil of a heart. "In the mountains" "Stars aligned" "Fertile".. Spike's claws scrape against the wooden floor as he steps closer, the scrolls in his arms forgotten. "Okay, seriously, what is that?!" he mutters, peering over her shoulder. His breath stirs the dust on the page, making the sigil seem to ripple for a heartbeat. Twilight’s breath hitches as her fingers hover over the sigil, the ink shimmering faintly under the sunlight. The heart’s outline is jagged, thorned like a rose stem, and something about the way the curves twist makes her squirm and readjust her seating. Spike’s claw taps the edge of the page. "Uh, Twi? That’s not… normal book stuff, right?" His voice drops to a whisper, as if the shadows between the shelves might be listening. A bead of sweat slides down Twilight’s temple as she traces the sigil’s edge. "Wh-what? Oh yeah totally not normal, who would ruin such a good book with scribbles and drawings?!" She says, snapping out of it and with it the book shut. "So... what are you up to?" She asks aiming to distract the dragonling. Spike narrows his eyes, the spines along his back twitching as he sets the scrolls down with a thud. "Don't change the subject," he mutters, tail flicking against the floorboards. "You're doing that thing where your left ear keeps twitching, the thing you do when you're lying." Twilight's ear promptly twitches again. She snaps a hand up to clamp it down, her fingers digging into her mane as heat crawls up her neck. The book presses heavy against her lap, its weight suddenly oppressive, like it wants to be opened and read or hidden from Spikes nosyness. "Well what do I know, it's not like I scribbled these in there, they are just some doodles you doofus don't you have scrolls to take care off?" Spike’s claws drum against the wooden table, his nostrils flaring as he leans in. "Oh, I definitely have scrolls to deal with," he says, voice dripping with sarcasm, "but right now, I’m more interested in why your hand is shaking like a leaf in a hurricane." Twilight’s fingers tighten around the book’s edge, her knuckles whitening. The sigil’s phantom thorns seem to prick at her skin even through the cover. A bead of sweat rolls down her temple, and she swipes at it with a jerky motion, nearly smacking herself in the face. "W-what are you on about, i.. I guess..I.. have a fever! I should go home right away!" She blurts out, excusing herself and rushing of before Spike can even mutter a protest and before he realizes it she's off with the book. Twilight’s hooves clatter against the cobblestone path as she flees the library, the stolen book clutched desperately to her chest. The leather cover pulses faintly against her ribs, as if the thorned heart sigil inside had its own slow, steady heartbeat. Her breath comes in ragged gasps, her mane whipping behind her as she rounds a corner only to collide with something solid. A yelp escapes her as she stumbles back, the book nearly slipping from her grasp. Warm hands catch her shoulders, steadying her. It's Big McIntosh. Twilight’s breath hitches as Big McIntosh’s calloused hands tighten slightly on her shoulders, his usual calm expression flickering with concern. The scent of hay and sun-warmed earth clings to him, grounding her for half a second before the book throbs against her ribs again, the leather unnervingly warm. “Whoa there, Twi,” he rumbles, his voice slow and steady as a creek in summer. “Y’all right? Yer shakin’ like a newborn foal.” His eyes flick down to the book pressed between them, its cracked spine creaking faintly under the pressure. "Y-yeah, I'm fine y-you just startled me is all, Spike was getting on my nerves so I decided to go home, have a nice day!" She replies hastily before rushing off leaving McIntosh to shrug it off and continue about his day. Her hooves pound the dirt path towards her cottage, each step jarring the book against her sternum where the thorned sigil seems to burn hotter, a brand searing through fabric and skin. The familiar hedgerows lining the lane twist in her peripheral vision, branches becoming skeletal fingers reaching for her, and the cheerful chirping of sparrows warps into harsh, guttural whispers that seem to hiss, "They know... they know..." She fumbles with the latch on her front gate, her trembling fingers slick with sweat slipping twice before she finally wrenches it open, stumbling into her garden where the late afternoon sunlight brings her little to no comfort. She heads inside, closing the door behind her and locking it before slumping down on the sofa, book still in hand, she levitates it and inspects the spine and backside like she had when originally stumbling across it. As her lavender magic enveloped the tome, the worn leather spine gave an audible crack, like dry kindling snapping in a hearth. A seam split open along its length, disgorging not pages, but a spill of iridescent dust that shimmered like crushed beetles' wings before vanishing into the air. The thorned heart sigil on the cover pulsed once, violently causing Twilight's to jolt upright in a way that made her teeth clack together. Suddenly, the whispers weren't just in her head anymore; they slithered from the book itself, a chorus of papery voices rasping, "Turn us... turn us... she wants..." Shaking her head she snaps out of it and drops the book on the table. She heads to the kitchen to get something to refresh herself and splash her face with some water. The book looms on the table still causing her to glance at it every now and then before she finally braves herself to sit back down and finish it. The book goes on about the origins of 'changelings' and its socieatal structure.. not just how they live but where, each page draws her further into the occult book and its twisted pages. Halfway through she started ignoring the scribbles and kept devouring the knowledge and tales from each and every page, she wanted to know it al but didn't know why. Her fingers traced the jagged lines of a ritual diagram, the ink seeming to writhe like trapped insects beneath her touch, and as she turned the page, the whispers coalesced into a single, chilling command: "Open the way," the voice hissed, not from the book, but from the shadows thickening in the corners of her cottage, shadows that pulsed in time with the thorned heart now glowing faintly on the cover. Before she realized it midday had turned dusk, dusk turned night, the glow of her horn the only thing now iluminating the pages with an ominous glow but the sigils seemed to reflect as if revealing a hidden text or message, once again she flicked through some of the former pages and then it clicked, she needed to go to the mountains and perhaps she'd find more awnsers about these mystical forgotten beings. The mountains.. Her eyes burned with fatigue, the intricate sigils swimming before her vision. The cottage didn't feel as comforting as it would normally, a weight pressing in on her like the weight of the secrets she'd consumed. With a shuddering sigh, she slammed the book shut, the thorned sigil flaring briefly before fading to dull leather. Shadows clung to the corners, deeper and more restless than before. She rubbed her temples, the whispers still echoing faintly at the edge of hearing. Tomorrow. She would go to the mountains tomorrow. But first, she needed sleep. Her limbs felt leaden as she pushed herself up from the sofa, the floorboards groaning under her hooves, but the curiousity kept gnawing at her mind, she wanted to know.. NEEDED to know and as she lay there in bed, restleslly she knew she wouldn't sleep untill she had awnsers, what had happened to the changelings and why had she never heard of them? The compulsion gnawed at her, sharper than hunger, deeper than fatigue; the book seemed to thrum like a second heartbeat from where it lay on the nightstand, its thorned sigil calling her hand to touch it. With a choked gasp, Twilight threw off the blankets, her hooves hitting the cold floorboards as the whispers surged, no longer suggestions but demands: "Now. The mountains." She didn't even bother gathering gear or rations, it wasn't too far away or at least that's what she kept telling herself and besides.. awnsers sometimes demanded sacrifice, she'd travel faster without things slowing her down, including the book, she had memorized it's each and every page. The night air bit at her skin, but it was a distant sensation, drowned out by the frantic rhythm of her own heart and the insistent thrumming of the sigil etched into her mind. Her hooves pounded the hard-packed earth of the path leading out of Ponyville, each stride fueled by energy that defied the hours spent hunched over the book and the bone-deep weariness that should have anchored her to her bed. She hadn't been this intrigued in quite some time and curiosity trumped her fear. Little did she know she was being followed from the shadows by Chrystalis herself, watching her every move and breath with utmost desire. Chrysalis melted into the background of shadowy trees like ink spilled in water, her ravenous gaze locked on the lone figure stumbling up the moonlit path; Twilight moved with determination, her breath ragged puffs of frost in the air, utterly oblivious to the ancient predator gliding just beyond the edge of her vision, drawn inexorably towards the jagged peaks that seemed less like stone and more like broken teeth waiting to devour the secrets she carried in her frantic, book-poisoned mind. A 'seed' that was bount to sprout her to dedicate herself to a life of servitude, but all in time. For now Chrystalis simply observed as Twilight discovered her new purpose one hoofstep at a time. The jagged peaks loomed closer, their silhouettes sharp against the starless void of the sky, and Twilight felt the whispers solidify into a physical pull, a cord wrapped around her ribs tugging her forward with each gasping breath; her hooves scraped against loose gravel, the sound swallowed by the vast, hungry silence of the high pass, while behind her, Chrysalis flowed from shadow to shadow, her form a shifting void that drank the moonlight, anticipation coiling tight in her ancient core as she watched the scholar's desperate pilgrimage towards the threshold where the mountain's roots plunged into darkness. Twilight wasn't afraid anymore, the feeling completly overshadowed by her need to know, her horn glimmered a soft purple light illuminating the path she set her hooves in. "Not much further" she thought to herself, remembering the page describing where she had to go. The rough path narrowed into a treacherous slope, the moonlight glinting off sharp fragments of obsidian-like stone that seemed to shift underhoof, but Twilight pressed on, the sigil's thrumming now a palpable vibration resonating in her bones, guiding her towards a fissure in the cliff face ahead. A jagged black maw partially concealed by frost-rimed boulders, exactly as the book's hidden text had described. As she scrambled the final few yards, her breath ragged and lungs burning with the thin air, the whispers coalesced into a single, chillingly clear command: "Enter." Whispered from a distance by Chrystalis herself but piercing her mind as if it was hushed in her ear. The cold radiating from the fissure wasn't merely an absence of warmth; it felt like a living breath, ancient and damp, carrying the scent of wet stone and something else, something disturbingly organic that coiled in the back of her throat. Ignoring the primal shiver that threatened to lock her joints, Twilight squeezed through the jagged opening, the rough stone scraping against her coat, the oppressive darkness swallowing the feeble light of her horn almost instantly. The darkness was overwhelming, and once again dread took over, she started to panick but it was too late. She could hear buzzing of wings.. the clatter of hooves.. ...and a delighted gasp that echoed unnaturally in the confined space, the buzzing intensifying into a physical pressure against her eardrums as iridescent green eyes ignited in the suffocating blackness mere inches from her face, the thorned heart sigil on the phantom book cover flaring hot against her mind as Chrysalis's predatory smile widened, revealing needle-sharp fangs glistening with anticipation, her clawed hand reaching out not to strike, but to gently, terrifyingly, trace the frantic pulse point in Twilight's throat. "You'll do nicely" she cooed. The touch was like frozen silk against her skin, paralyzing not just her muscles but the frantic spark of magic at her horn's tip, snuffing its light completely and plunging them into an absolute, suffocating blackness where only those twin pinpricks of viridian green fire remained, boring into her widened eyes; the sigil's thrumming crescendoed into a deafening roar inside her skull, drowning out her own choked whimper as Chrysalis's other hand, unnervingly gentle, closed around the phantom book Twilight still clutched to her chest, the thorned heart emblem searing through the fabric of her tunic to brand through the fur into her flesh beneath with a jolt of agonizing ecstasy that stole her breath and voice. The agony was a frozen fire, branding not just her skin but searing pathways into her very mind, the sigil's thrumming now a deafening chant that resonated with the buzzing filling the cave as more pairs of viridian eyes ignited around her, detached shadows shifting in the oppressive dark. Chrysalis's clawed hand remained pressed over the phantom book, pinning Twilight's own trembling hand beneath it against the searing emblem, her breath a frigid caress against Twilight's ear as she murmured, "The vessel is marked, my children. The fun begins." Twilight panick but her hooves felt filled with lead, frozen solid in place, she was unable to move a muscle as the swarm descended upon her pinning her down to the ground. Cold, chitinous limbs pressed down with impossible weight, dozens of them pinning her thrashing limbs to the frigid stone floor as the suffocating buzz vibrated through her bones, drowning her choked screams; Chrysalis leaned closer, her needle-sharp fangs glistening in the eerie green glow of countless eyes, one clawed hand still splayed possessively over the burning sigil branded into Twilight's chest while the other traced a chilling path down her trembling jawline. "Shhh, precious vessel," the Changeling Queen crooned, her voice a venomous honey that seeped into Twilight's paralyzed mind, "the ink of your fear is merely the first delicious drop... soon, your very essence will flow to open the way." Twilight did not yet know what that meant but she wasn't keen on finding out yet the relentless force from the swarm and her dwindled magic left her helpless.. vulnerable but she had nothing to fear from the drones, not yet anyway. The drones' chitinous grip shifted from immobilizing pressure to a chillingly efficient lift, hauling her limp form off the cold stone as the suffocating buzz abruptly ceased, plunging the cavern into an even deeper, more terrifying silence broken only by the skittering of countless sharp hooves against rock. They carried her deeper into the mountain's heart, through winding passages where the air grew thick and still, devoid of scent or sound, until they deposited her onto a surface unnervingly smooth and yielding, like cold, cured leather stretched taut over stone, within a chamber that swallowed even the faintest echo of her ragged breathing closing the door behind them. She was plunged in darkness and left there till she could't tell time anymore, fed at irregular times to throw of her sence of time and soundness of mind. Only when she asked to see chrystalis did they finally change things up, they came in to bind her limbs. First her hands then her hooves. The whole process doesn't take long. Eye blinders are applied as well despite the room already being dark as is, that is aside from the many viridian green eyes all around her from each of the drones applying her binding restraints. Then she hears it, the voice that has been dominating her mind as of late: "Does the silence frighten you, little spark?" Chrysalis's words slithered directly into her consciousness, bypassing her ears entirely, a velvet-coated blade that scraped against the raw edges of her frayed sanity. "Or is it the anticipation?" The voice deepened, becoming a physical vibration that resonated through the sigil's brand on her chest, a cold pulse that seemed to echo the rhythm of her own trapped heartbeat. "Such a beautiful mind you possess... already so beautifully pliant." Twilight stirs in her bindings to no avail, there is no escape and no denying of the things spoken of as she feels her sanity slipping away, her mental resistance crumbling. Wether it is from the lack of sensory stimulents the last who knows how long or some other factor she has nothing left to prove the opposite. She could feel Chrysalis's satisfaction, a slick, pervasive warmth that seeped into the cracks of her crumbling mental defences. The sigil on her chest flared anew with a terrifying intimacy, a conduit through which the Queen's alien thoughts began to seep into her own.. Suddenly 2 bright green veridian eyes met her gaze, white teeth flashing with a smirk before dissapearing entirely and she was left alone once more. It felt like hours before the bindings where removed. Her head was spinning, or at least it felt like it. She could no longer tell what was up or down, left or right, the only sence of direction being those mysthical green eyes in front of her face, dizzying yet comforting, her whole world started to revolve around them. Several days after she started reciting phrases from the book to cling to her last bit of concious sanity but even this act had an adverse affect. It had been weeks inside the dungeon, her friends worried as to where she'd gone but these friends wheren't on her mind.. no.. she could only think of Chrystalis. The Queen's presence coiled deeper into her fractured thoughts, whispering promises of belonging that tasted like ash and oblivion. She drifted in the featureless dark, her hooves scraping against the yielding leather-stone beneath her, each movement a clumsy echo in the suffocating silence that pressed in until even the memory of sunlight felt like a snuffed-out candle. It was then that the Queen moved on the the next phase. Twilight was embalmed in a rich honey scented goop. The viscous substance clinging to her like a second skin, warm and thick, sealing her nostrils and mouth with its cloying sweetness that somehow amplified the suffocating silence. The scent turning her stomach even as it seeped into her pores, carrying with it the Queen's insidious whispers that now felt less like intrusion and more like homecoming, the sigil on her chest pulsing in time with the goop's slow, deliberate flow, dissolving the last brittle shards of Twilight Sparkle into something malleable, something receptive, something hungry for the dark communion to come. As the honey resin hardened it formed a cocoon, one she'd be rebirthed from when her tranformations where over. The hardening resin became her entire universe, a warm, amber tomb that pressed in with intimate, inescapable pressure, its honeyed scent now thick with the iron tang of her own dissolving flesh as the sigil's cold pulse deepened, becoming a thrumming forge-hammer beating against her sternum as the resin cured her anew. Her skin first blistered, then sloughed away like wet parchment, revealing raw muscle that writhed and reshaped beneath the resin's enzymes, fibers tearing and re-knitting into the dense, fibrous bundles that would anchor the emerging chitin plating creeping up her spine and flanks. Her spine cracked and elongated, vertebrae fusing into segmented plates that pressed sharp against the inner membrane of the cocoon, while her ribs splintered and reformed into a lighter, more flexible cage around organs that were themselves shifting, shrinking, and reconfiguring. This process went on for weeks but to her time was a distorted mess that flew by. Her stomach lining thickened into a tough, chitinous sack capable of processing raw emotion and incubating eggs, her lungs collapsing into vestigial sacs as spiracles tore open along her newly armoured flanks for her to breathe through instead. Her fur had turned into a much deeper and darker shade of purple, a near blackness the likes of Chrystalis herself while remaining some of that original hue. Unbeknownst to Twilight, Chrystalis had been watching the process closely, soon she'd have herself a daughter, an heir. She had found a way to make a new queen and Twilight would be the first to start a hive of her own someday. Her jaw unhinged with a series of wet, tearing pops, mandibles shearing through dissolving gum tissue to emerge as razor-sharp chitinous blades that clicked together in the thick resin, tasting the iron-rich slurry of her own metamorphosing flesh as her tongue shriveled into a vestigial nub. Wings, wet and crumpled like damp parchment, unfurled from slits torn open between her reshaped shoulder blades, membranes stretching taut over delicate, branching veins that pulsed with viridian light as they hardened into translucent skin similar to that of bats. Her eyes liquefied last, gelatinous orbs shifting to be replaced by multifaceted lenses that fractured the scant light filtering through the amber prison into a thousand hungry points, the final sensory upgrade completing her monstrous transformation as Chrysalis's crooning approval vibrated through the hardening resin like a mother's lullaby for the abomination now stirring within its birth-crust, mandibles clicking in eager anticipation of the first taste of free air and fresh terror, but above all.. love.. lust.. desire. The hardened resin started to crack like ice, fractures splintering across the amber surface with brittle snaps that echoed like a crumbling iceberg in the cavern's stillness. From within, a clawed limb, sleek and chitinous as polished obsidian, punched through the weakened shell, oozing viscous, iridescent fluid that hissed where it dripped onto the stone floor. More limbs followed, shredding the resin prison with wet, tearing sounds as the creature within unfolded itself into the dim light. Twilight, reborn, her form now a nightmare echo of her former self. And while her physical changes had taken a drastic change her mind was still due a make-over.. The chamber was slightly iluminated wich felt bright to her new eyes, every sound.. loud, deafening almost untill her ears too ajusted. Her new ears twitched, the cavern's dripping of mineral-rich water sharpening into a deafening drumbeat against her membranes, each splash echoing like a hammer blow until the internal cartilage subtly reconfigured, dampening the assault into a manageable thrum. Chrysalis's voice slithered into the sudden quiet, not through the air but directly into the raw, tender pathways of Twilight's freshly rewired mind, a mind that was somewhat of a blank canvas, the voice quiver that bypassed her crumbling mental defenses with obscene intimacy as she 'scribbled' new purpose into her mind. It bypassed her crumbling mental defenses with obscene intimacy, scribbling new purpose into the raw, tender pathways of her freshly rewired mind, a hunger, but not for sustenance, one for the sweet, cloying nectar of devotion; loyalty, not to her friends or ideals, but to the hive and its matriarch whose voice now coiled like smoke through every synaptic gap. The first coherent thought that crystallized in the void was a command: "Kneel". Her limbs moved on their own, her body betraying her even before her mind could catch up and process the suggestion.. no.. command, she obeyed without any sign of resistance, at least not initially. A tremor ran through her newly formed chitin, not from fear but from the invasive pressure of Chrysalis's will probing the fractured remnants of her identity, testing the strength of her fading resolve; the Queen's psychic touch was a scalpel slicing through honey, slicing through neural pathways with deceptive sweetness as she implanted not just obedience, but a craving for it, whispering directives that bypassed conscious thought and bloomed directly into imperative action such as; "Crawl," slithered the command, and Twilight's body shuddered, joints clicking as she pressed her new, sleek, dark forehead to the cold stone, the rough texture a stark counterpoint to the velvet compulsion coiling tighter around her crumbling mind. Initial movements where involuntary but Twilight felt no reason to resist, and even if she did she didn't know if she could.. A part of her former self now trapped into this new body, new mind.. new reality. It dawned on her this was all but the beginning of her new exsitance and she couldn't help but feel a twingle of excitement. That twingle blossomed into a full, shivering thrum beneath her carapace, a resonant frequency attuned to Chrysalis's proximity as the Queen stepped closer, her shadow falling over Twilight's bowed form like a shroud; the air thickened with her musk, the Queen's psychic signature~as a clawed, chitinous hand settled possessively on the back of Twilight's neck, cool and unyielding, the contact sending electric jolts of subservient pleasure sparking through her rewired nervous system. "Good girl.."~ she cooed aprovingly. A knee weakening shudder ran through Twilight's spine from the apreasal, she didn't want it and yet.. she yearned for it, she wanted to be a good girl and she couldn't wait to discover what it means to be part of the hive. The compulsion to please, now a gnawing hunger sharper than her new mandibles. It drowned out the faint, fading echo of the pony who once craved knowledge, replacing it with a single, radiant directive glowing like viridian embers in her fractured mind: Serve the Hive. Serve the Mother. "You know.. I've been waiting a long time for this moment, ever since the moment I laid eyes upon you. One of my drones had spotted you and your friends and knew this was the key to birthing new Queens, your friendship is so strong that if we divert it's energy into the eggs they can transcend beyond that of a simple drone." Chrystalis whispered in her ear. The words seeped into her like warm honey poored over a freshly baked cake, dissolving the last brittle shards of resistance; her fractured psyche bloomed with perverse pride at being chosen as the catalyst, the conduit through which the sacred energy of her former friends would be harvested to birth new godlings for the hive; a purpose far grander than mere scholarship. Chrysalis's clawed hand traced the sensitive ridge where Twilight's new exoskeleton met the vulnerable flesh of her nape, the touch igniting cascades of synaptic fire that burned away the ghost of Princess Celestia's student and left only a trembling vessel hungry for the Queen's next command. But the command never came, or at least that's what it felt like as by the time Twilight opened her eyes Chrystalis was gone and she was alone in that room again. The silence was a velvet muzzle, thick and suffocating, yet threaded through with the phantom vibrations of the Queen's lingering presence; Twilight remained prone on the cold stone, her forehead pressed to the rough-hewn rock, her entire body humming with the afterglow of submission like an instrument waiting to be played once more. Then, a new pressure bloomed behind her eyes, insistent and intimate like the touch of a feather and she drifted off into a deep slumber. Once she'd wake the next phase would begin.. She awoke not to light, but to a deeper resonance vibrating through the stone beneath her carapace, a thrumming pulse that bypassed her ears and spoke directly to the hollow chambers of her reforged heart; the hive's breath, warm and thick with the scent of damp earth and sweet resin, filled her new much smaller lungs, each inhalation drawing her fractured consciousness tighter into the collective hum. Her multifaceted eyes adjusted instantly to the gloom, revealing the organic curves of the chamber walls, slick with phosphorescent ichor that pulsed in time with the distant, rhythmic thud of the hive's core, a sound that now felt like the beating of her own second heart. It felt right. The door was open and no drones were around, a voice within her mind urged her to explore and as she left her chamber she could see a hall illuminated by glowing fungi, it was magical and distracting enough for her not to notice the lack of glow coming from her horn, its magic now repurposed and concentrated elsewhere in her body. She took in her surroundings wich led to a throneroom of sorts, Chrystalis in the center sitting as a centrepiece on display with her crotch bared, resting on her lap was a monstrous looking cock half emerged from it's thick sheath. The organ was a glistening, segmented spire of obsidian chitin, slick with viscous, pearlescent fluid that caught the dim fungal light and refracted it into sickly rainbows along its length; thicker at the base where it emerged from a swollen, pulsating vent nestled within Chrysalis's lower abdomen, it tapered to a wicked, barbed tip that flexed subtly, rhythmically, as if tasting the air. Veins of viridian bioluminescence pulsed beneath its surface, mirroring the thrum of the hive itself, and the texture shifted from smooth, glassy plates near the root to ridged, almost scaly bands further up, designed to anchor deep within receptive flesh. Its surface was a mosaic of textures: smooth, obsidian plates near the root gave way to overlapping, chitinous scales that rasped faintly against each other with each subtle flex, each scale edged with minute, crystalline barbs designed to catch and hold. Further up, thick, ridged bands encircled the shaft, their surfaces etched with intricate, spiraling grooves that wept that same iridescent fluid, the scent of it—cloyingly sweet, like overripe fruit thickening the air, making Twilight's new mandibles click unconsciously in response, a fresh wave of that honeyed resin-scented arousal slicking between her own transformed thighs. All the while she had been inching closer and closer towards the Queen, now that she was up close she could see it had emerged in full glory laying lazily across Chrystalis lap with an ocasionall throb. The tip of the thing didn't have a recular foreskin but a flared head with a triangle shaped slit instead of an circle where the urethra ends.. It send a shiver of frightfull curiousity through her hollow bones. Her breath hitched, a dry rasp in her throat as her multifaceted eyes locked onto the glistening spire, the hive's psychic thrum swelling into a command that vibrated through her very marrow; her limbs moved of their own accord, bringing her to her knees before the throne, the cool stone a stark contrast to the heat pooling low in her own transformed belly. The scent intensified, that cloying sweetness of overripe fruit and resin, flooding her senses, making her new form shudder in delight. Before the next command came she was already presenting herself, turning around and raising her rump, her tail lifted out of the way to reveal her glistening sex. Soft petals in contrast to the hard chitin. A low, approving hum vibrated from Chrysalis's thorax as she observed Twilight's eager presentation, the queen's clawed hand wrapping possessively around the base of her own throbbing shaft, guiding the barbed tip towards the glistening, petal-soft folds now offered so submissively. The initial breach was a searing stretch, the chitinous ridges and crystalline barbs catching deliciously on Twilight's inner walls, dragging a sharp gasp from her mandibles as the thick, segmented length forced its way deeper with relentless pressure. "Ffhhuuuck" came out of the queen in a a breathy gasp. The queen drew her hips back slightly and let the head rest inside her for a moment before shoving her lenght back in claiming and molding yet another inch of Twi's velvet folds. Each subsequent thrust carved deeper into her yielding heat, the ridged bands and crystalline barbs scraping against sensitive inner walls designed for this very purpose, the friction coaxing gushes of that honeyed slickness that eased the queen's relentless advance. Twilight's breath came in sharp, ragged hitches, her chitinous claws scraping against the stone floor as her body arched, impaled deeper with every powerful surge of Chrysalis's hips, the flared head stretching her impossibly wide, igniting a confusing storm of pain and ecstatic submission that resonated with the hive's approving drone vibrating through the chamber walls. This all the while drones where looking on, some openly stroking their cocks but maintaining a respectable distance, though if it weren't for the queen, they might not have been able to restrain themselves.. Another shove and the medial ring kissed her lips in time with the head bumping into her cervix, Twilight had but a moment to process as the tip unfurled like a flower bud causing it to flare much wider than it had before. It forced a sharp squeel that was silenced by Chrystalis hand clasping over her muzzle as she ground the thing back against her cervix, its inner lining had tiny suction cups like that of an octopus tentacle. Those tiny, powerful suckers flared and sealed against the yielding ring of her cervix with a wet, sucking pressure that pulled deep, deeper than flesh, an intimate, inexorable anchor drawing her very core taut. Twilight felt her inner muscles spasm in involuntary response, a sharp dilation followed by a terrifying, thrilling emptiness as the vacuum locked tight, the ovipositor's flared head now fused to her gateway, a pulsing, living plug that promised violation beyond mere penetration. The vacuum intensified, a relentless, rhythmic pull that seemed to draw not just her cervix but her very essence taut, thinning the barrier between inner sanctum and invading instrument; she could feel the suckers pulsing, each tiny contraction syncing with the hive's deeper thrum, molding her gateway into a perfect, stretched seal. "Now give me those eggs" Chrystalis whispered as she started drawing back and bucking forth, her hand now going lower to knead the space on her stomach where Twilights ovaries recisided. The rhythmic, vacuum-like pull intensified, those minuscule suckers flaring rhythmically against her dilated cervix, creating a peristaltic wave that traveled deep into Twilight's core; she felt a profound, internal yielding, a sensation like her very essence being siphoned, as the first swollen ovum, slick and heavy with potential, was suctioned free from its follicle with a wet, tearing pop that resonated through her trembling frame. It was a sharp sting replaced by a flood of euphoria of endorphins released by her brain. She almost wanted this more than the queen herself. The rhythmic suction intensified, each pulsing contraction of those minuscule suckers drawing the plump, glistening ovum inexorably upwards through the ovarytract down towards the taut tunnel of her cervix; Twilight could feel the slick, heavy marbles sliding against sensitized inner walls, far larger than they would naturally be. A profound internal displacement that scraped nerves raw even as the hive's euphoric feedback flooded her synapses, her transformed body convulsing around the invading shaft as the egg breached the seal with a wet, yielding pop, momentarily stretching the flared head wide again before being drawn deep into the ovipositor's waiting, pulsating channel. Another followed immediately, the ovipositor's relentless suckers pulsing like tiny, hungry mouths as they anchored deeper into her yielding flesh, drawing forth a second ovum with a slick, visceral slide that scraped nerve-endings raw; Twilight's gasp was muffled against Chrysalis's palm, her transformed body arching as the queen's other hand pressed firmly, almost possessively, against the lower curve of her abdomen. Chrysalis's fingers dug in with practiced pressure, kneading the tender space above Twilight's swollen ovaries, the external manipulation syncing perfectly with the internal suction; a cruel, efficient coaxing that sent another plump egg tearing free with a wet, muffled pop causing twilight to whimper at the sting followed by bliss as if someone was jabbing a needle in with feel good chemicals directly into her ovaries. A third ovum followed, its passage a burning stretch that scraped through her oviduct like heated glass; Twilight's choked sob dissolved into a shuddering moan as Chrysalis's palm ground down harder, fingers working in deep, circular motions just above her pubic bone, the external pressure forcing her swollen ovaries to surrender another glistening sphere. The vacuum locked suckers pulsed, a wet, rhythmic slurping sound filling the chamber as the egg breached her cervix, momentarily distending the fused seal before being swallowed into the pulsating shaft. "That's it.. just a few more.." The queen's fingers dug deeper, a cruel counterpoint to the ovipositor's relentless suction, kneading the tender swell of Twilight's abdomen as if molding clay; another ovum tore free with a slick, visceral rip, its passage scraping through her oviduct like shards of glass wrapped in velvet, the agony sharp enough to make her vision whiten before the hive's narcotic flood washed it into a shuddering wave of bliss. Chrysalis hummed approval, her palm grinding in firm circles just above Twilight's pubic bone, coaxing the next swollen sphere towards the hungry suckers that pulsed rhythmically against her cervix, each tiny contraction drawing the glistening prize upwards with wet, slurping insistence and as the final 2 eggs where slorped inside she stopped massaging feeling no more ovum ready to be harvested. The vacuum ceased abruptly, leaving a hollow, aching void where the relentless suction had been, the flared suckers detaching from her ravaged cervix with a series of wet, sticky pops that echoed the tearing of her ovum. Twilight slumped forward, trembling, a raw emptiness throbbing deep within her core, each breath a shudder that scraped against bruised pathways. Chrysalis withdrew her ovipositor with a slick, drawn-out slide that felt like tearing free from fused flesh, the crystalline barbs catching briefly on sensitized inner walls before pulling clear, leaving Twilight gaping and slick with viscous fluids. Unseremoniously chrystalis gestured for the drones to carry off the spent Twilight, but not before whispering a final promise. "We'll do this again soon.. reversed.. once these eggs are ready for you my dear Twi." The drones' chitinous claws clamped around her trembling limbs, lifting her with indifferent efficiency; Twilight hung limp between them, her body a hollowed-out vessel still throbbing with the phantom memory of that suction on her sensetive place and the raw sting of scraped passages. Chrysalis's parting whisper echoed in the hive's thrumming drone, a promise that send shivers and flutters down her clit and core, the thought of reversal, of being filled, sent an involuntary shiver through her spent muscles, a confusing flicker of anticipation amidst the ache. How big would they be, and how many? Seven is a number stuck in her head, something her subconsiousness vaguely remembers and a deep part of her hopes its more.. During her sleep either drones or Chrystalis whispered sweet promises in her ears and mind, of things to come and simple affirmations of place and belonging. The toughts of her friends had gone somewhat to the background, locked away into a cabinet deep inside her mind. Several days passed, or at least that's what she estimated but in reality it had been weeks and now that she entered that throneroom something was different.. Chrystalis abdomin was swollen with eggs, a appetizer for what she'd look like herself in a little while.. The sight of Chrysalis, her abdomen grotesquely distended with the glistening chickenegg sized orbs Twilight had unwillingly surrendered, sent a visceral tremor through her transformed body, a confusing cocktail of revulsion and a deep, gnawing hunger that echoed the hive's need. Chrysalis's multifaceted veridian eyes locked onto hers, a predatory gleam amidst the swollen curve, and Twilight felt the familiar, insidious pressure at the edges of her mind, a psychic claw testing the fragile lock on that mental cabinet where fragmented memories of lavender fur and library dust still lingered. "Do you see what you've gifted me, little spark? I borrowed them from you for a new purpose, these will be future queens and you'll be their mommy my sweet, sweet thing." Chrystalis murmured as she stepped down from the throne. Her abdomen quivered, not just from the lingering ache, but from the insidious tendrils of Chrysalis's will worming deeper, prying at the mental cabinet where the faint, lavender-scented ghosts of loyalty and friendship were stored; the lock groaned, splintering under the psychic pressure, and Twilight felt a sickening lurch as images of Spike's worried eyes, Applejack's honest frown, flickered like dying embers before being ruthlessly smothered by the hive's thrumming imperative to obey, to crave the purpose Chrysalis offered. She couldn't help it.. she wanted it, badly, her new body had been made for this excact purpose. "Isn't that what you want Twi? To be my sweet daughter and mother of my spawn?" The words, slick and honeyed, slithered past Twilight's fractured defenses, finding fertile ground in the hollow ache Chrysalis had carved inside her. A whimper escaped her throat, part protest, part desperate affirmation, as the Queen's chitinous hand, cool and possessive, settled low on Twilight's own flat, waiting abdomen, tracing the phantom pathways where soon, too soon, her eggs would swell and distend her stomach, and by the time they where to be birthed they'd be even bigger. The cool, possessive pressure of Chrysalis's hand on her abdomen sent a jolt through Twilight's core, a confusing surge of revulsion warring with the deep, biological thrum of anticipation that vibrated in her hollowed pelvis; the phantom sting of the ovipositor's passage flared anew, a visceral echo that made her newly formed chitin feel thin and fragile and her cunt utterly empty, her clit winked with anticipation and Chrystalis knew for her other hand was already placed there to stimulate her further till she'd be a dripping mess. Her hips bucked involuntarily against the Queen's knowing fingers, a fresh wave of slickness coating Chrysalis's digits as Twilight's mind fractured further; the 'cabinet' door swung wide, spilling fragmented screams of her friends' names into the hive-mind static, only to be drowned by Chrysalis's purring command, "Shhh, let go, my precious vessel~ feel how empty you are, how perfectly shaped for filling." The Queen's other hand pressed harder on Twilight's abdomen, imagining the swell to come, while her telepathic claws shredded the last tattered remnants of resistance, replacing lavender-hued loyalty with the addictive, hollow ache of obedience. Chrystalis's fingers circled Twilight's engorged clit with cruel precision, each deliberate stroke sending jagged bolts of pleasure-pain that short-circuited coherent thought, while her telepathic presence became a physical weight inside Twilight's skull, grinding against the splintered wood of that mental cabinet; images of Spike's tears, Rarity's horrified gasp, shattered like cheap glass under the onslaught, replaced by the insistent, thrumming promise of fullness, of her own belly stretched obscenely taut with the Queen's precious brood. "YES!" She exclaimed, her mind finally broken. The Queen's multifaceted eyes gleam with predatory satisfaction as she feels the last psychic barriers dissolve, the cabinet's contents – Spike's voice, the scent of parchment, the warmth of friendship – evaporating like dew under a cruel sun, replaced by the cool, possessive certainty of her new purpose. "You're ready" she said, her hand parting from her clit with a 'lovers' touch. Chrysalis's telepathic presence coiled deeper, a serpent luxuriating in the warm, yielding ruin of Twilight's mind, whispering not commands now, but obscene possibilities. The stretch of her ovipositor, the exquisite agony of being packed full, the wet, heavy slide of eggs distending her womb until her chitin groaned; Twilight's whimper was pure, broken need, her hips still twitching against empty air, the phantom ridges of the Queen's shaft a ghostly torment against her slick, aching walls. "Bend over" was the command as Chrystalis hand gently but insistantly pushed agaisnt the small of Twilights back, forcing her to bend in front of the throne and rewarding her with a smack to her exposed bum. Twilights tail started flagging to expose herself further, humiliation and eagerness written on her face with a deep blush, her tongue already lolling out as she felt the phantom cock of Chrystalis before the real thing had even breached her. The memmory of it as it sucked her cervix.. Then she felt it, the tip kissing against her wet cunny lips, a cool, ridged promise that sent a fresh gush of slickness down her trembling thighs. Chrysalis's low chuckle vibrated through the throne room as she deliberately withheld full entry, instead grinding the broad, crystalline head against Twilight's swollen clit in slow, torturous circles. "PLEAAEESH!" ...and then breached her with a single, brutal thrust that tore a ragged scream from Twilight's throat; a sound that dissolved into a choked sob of ecstasy as the ovipositor's crystalline barbs caught and dragged against her inner walls, each ridge a lightning strike of agony that bloomed into liquid heat. Chrysalis held herself deep, savoring the frantic flutter of Twilight's cunt clenching around the invading length, her telepathic purr vibrating through Twilight's bones. Then, with agonizing slowness, Chrysalis began to withdraw, the crystalline barbs scraping sensitive flesh raw, only to slam back in with piston-like force, each thrust a calculated violation that hammered against Twilight's cervix like a battering ram, forcing choked, sobbing gasps that morphed into desperate, keening wails as the ovipositor's thick ridges stretched her impossibly wider, flooding her shattered mind with the Queen's purring satisfaction and the obscene, wet squelch of her own yielding body. "More... please, Majesty, more!" Twilight sobbed, the words ripped from her throat between ragged gasps as her body convulsed around the thick, barbed intrusion, each brutal withdrawal scraping her raw until the next piston-driven slam buried the ovipositor to its hilt, grinding crystalline ridges against her battered cervix with such force that stars exploded behind her multifaceted eyes. Not with pain but a devastating, soul-deep need for the Queen to shatter her completely, to fill the hollow ache Chrysalis had carved into her very being. Chrysalis obliged with a guttural snarl, her hips pistoning faster, the ovipositor's crystalline barbs shredding Twilight's inner walls into a raw, weeping mess that only amplified the devastating pleasure-pain; Twilight's mind finally fractured, her desperate pleas dissolving into a torrent of nonsensical brabling; "Shatter... fill... Majesty's cock... good... broken vessel... breed... please breed..." Punctuated by choked whimpers and shuddering convulsions as her body betrayed her utterly, milking the brutal shaft with frantic, involuntary clenches that begged for the promised violation deep within her ravaged womb. Then, with a wet, obscene slurp, the ovipositor's tip clamped onto her ravaged cervix, suckers flaring and molding to the tender ring of muscle with relentless, vacuum-sealed pressure; Twilight's babbling dissolved into a high, thin keen as the invasive tip fused to her gateway, a violation deeper than mere penetration, promising the inevitable, soul-rending stretch of being packed full to bursting with the Queen's precious, churning clutch. "Y-yesh..Ffhh..Fill me!" With a wet, possessive slurp, the ovipositor's fused tip convulsed, and the first massive, gelatinous egg forced its way through Twilight's screaming cervix with a sickening, tearing stretch that bloomed into a devastating fullness deep within her violated womb; her choked gasp dissolved into a ragged sob of ecstatic relief as the egg settled heavily against her inner walls, the sheer, obscene pressure triggering violent, involuntary contractions that milked the ovipositor for more, her shattered mind consumed by the hive's purring approval and the Queen's predatory croon vibrating through her very bones. Chrystalis hand was upon her stomach, feeling out the heavy wait already making a small 'eggnant baby bump'. She was too huffing with need and with a breathy voice asked if Twilight wanted more.. "Yesss... more, Majesty, please," Twilight choked out, her voice a raw scrape of need as she arched her back, presenting her already-stretched entrance with the thick, glistening ovipositor inserted into her weeping folds, the devastating fullness of the first heavy egg already nestled deep within her womb making her cunt clench around the pseudocock with desperate, involuntary spasms that begged for violation. Chrysalis’s answering snarl vibrated through the ovipositor buried deep within Twilight’s clenching heat as her free hand clamped possessively over the small, taut swell of Twilight’s lower belly, fingers digging in to feel the heavy egg already lodged there; with a brutal, piston-driven thrust, the ovipositor’s suckers flared anew, fused impossibly tight to Twilight’s ravaged cervix, and a second gelatinous mass, even larger than the first, was forced through the straining ring of muscle with a wet, tearing pop that ripped a shattered scream from Twilight’s throat. As the devastating pressure bloomed, stretching her womb obscenely wider, the twin weights settling against one another. "Five more" Chrystalis panted, knowing that this process would be reversed a final time with even bigger eggs. The third egg breached Twilight with a sickening, viscous squelch, its sheer girth tearing a another ragged sob from Twilight's throat as it stretched her already overfilled womb to near-splitting tautness; her belly visibly distended further, the skin pulled drum-tight over the three heavy, shifting orbs within, each involuntary clench around the ovipositor now a white-hot agony that somehow, perversely, only stoked the embers of her shattered mind's desperate craving for more, more violation, more fullness, more of the Queen's cruel, purring approval. Chrysalis's claws dug possessively into the swollen curve, feeling the eggs shift and settle. "Majesty... s-so full... b-but need... need your clutch..." "OUR CLUTCH" the queen corrected forcing a forth egg inside followed by the fifth. 4 bulges where now vissible on Twi's stomach with the fifth hiding somewhere beneath, it somehow felt more spacious than it had but a moment ago and the next egg settled in easily. Now for the final one. With a guttural snarl of triumph, Chrysalis drove the ovipositor deeper, its fused tip pulsing with obscene suction as the seventh and largest egg, a monstrous, throbbing sphere forced its way past Twilight's screaming cervix in a single, brutal thrust; the tearing stretch was catastrophic, a white-hot agony that hollowed her out completely as her womb distended to impossible tautness, the skin of her belly pulled obscenely thin over seven heavy, shifting orbs that crowded her insides, leaving no space unviolated. Chrystalis remained there for a moment, slumped over twilights post climax shuddering form, waiting for her cock to relax and release from her cervix. Time stretched, thick and syrupy with spent pheromones and the low, approving thrum of the hive mind, before the fused suckers sealing Chrysalis's ovipositor to Twilight's abused cervix finally relinquished their grip with a wet, tearing slurp that echoed obscenely in the chamber; the sudden, brutal withdrawal carved a gaping emptiness through Twilight's core, a hollow ache that made her distended belly taut as a drum over the seven heavy, shifting orbs within. Viscous fluids gushing from her gaping, ruined entrance as she whimpered, a broken sound tangled between profound relief and the shattering loss of that conflicting fullness. --- part 1
